The Vibram Ibex outsole is engineered to traverse rocky, uneven mountainous terrain with ease, thanks to a unique, multi-directional lug pattern that maintains traction in any conditions. Every Tactical Research boot is built with the TR-1 orthotic insole, which is rigid enough to reduce arch fatigue, but comfortable enough for long periods of wear. A critical component of any tactical boot is the heel cup, which is built in atop the midsole to stop ankle injuries and maintain a secure, stable fit. The hydrophilic lining wicks away excess moisture and pumps heat out of the boot, while the padded tongue adds comfort. This model features a side zipper for convenient removal.
